Hi Im Lawrence and After working in advertising, marketing, photography and design for over 20 years for some of the best agencies in Australia, I now work for my self  and to this day love being a creative. There is an old saying “Give someone a job they love and they will never work a day in their life”  I agree with that quote. I have learnt many great things from many great people, some, the best in the business and that is something you can use to help you.

I’ve been in advertising, marketing and design for 20 years and am very passionate about creative quality. I’m also old enough and wise enough to know how to help you spend prudently.

I pretty much started working on a mac around 1990, cumbersome but functional then.  I started working in design as soon as I left uni after my degree, then it was traditional paste up. grins, moments in the dark room with bromide cameras and emulsion. It wasn't too long till apple worked out a way that its target market was the creative industry and soon after mac became the designer tool, I was there for that and funnley enough still am.

Illustrator                -  I love illustrator, we have a thing going on you know. it's simply a brilliant application. ive been using it for a long time to create everything from logo's   
                                     to illustrations in 3D and pretty much know every short cut there is. click here to see some of the illustrations I have created. 

Photoshop              - What can I say, Photoshop is the designers canvas, for  long time I have used this single application to so many things, it's brilliant. If you combine 
                                    Photoshop with a Wacom tablet you have a pressure sensitive environment which creates this wonderful flow. retouching, web design, illustration, 
                                    3D rendering, animated gifs you name it This is one sweet programme.

In Design                 - Welcome to the bricks and morter of applications, indesign is the cardboard, spray adhesive and scalpel of design. This is pretty much the publishing
                                     app, I used Quark Express for many years and then as the creative suites came out started using it instead. I love indesign.

Lawrence's knowledge has expanded over the years to bring concepts in layout and design through to the finished product. He can manage a project from beginning to end without assistance, including dealing with suppliers and clients and working with them to ensure they get the best quality job on brief, with a great understanding of how important good advertising and design is to the success of a business.

Prod management  -  Knowing printing is part of any good designer, and i know the industry well from paper to ink.

Graphic design        - Logos, brochures, corporate profiles, annual reports, packaging, branding, web design and functional spec.

Art directing             - Magazine, newspaper advertising, billboards, point of sale, merchandising, magazine, press, photography, web.

Photography            - People, fashion, nature, packaging, catalogue, advertising and sport, promotional.

Filming                      - Film is beautiful photographs that come to life and the ability to capture in a frame a moment. I love it.

Client service          - Liaising with clients and account service to get the understanding of what they truly want and need.

Web design              - Full web design look and feel, functionality specifications and CMS architecture.

Mobile                       - Through knowledge of sms and mobile phone delivery systems and integration for promotion and delivery of content.

Advertising             - Advertising, marketing and design for both above and below the line clients.

Illustration               - Solid illustration skills in animation and cartooning.

Editing                      - Being able to edit has been a blessing, i've been fortunate enough to work on some great film clips for bands and cinema advertising 
                                     for some great clients.

Im a pretty funny  guy, im totally not shy and throughly enjoy hanging out with people. Advertising and design are my life, I love surfing and lots of other things but creativity, it's in my blood. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than working with a creative team to make brilliant things happen. Im from the generation that genuinely works for the end result, no fuss just 100% dedication, trust and a tenacity like no other to get the job done. I promise if you employed me it will be one of the best decisions you make.

There is something very cool about my experience thats a little bit different, for example I would love to care for your brand for example.
